I don't like that you require 24/7 access to my calendar, what can I do?

We would have a hard time presenting your real time availability to clients without real time access to your Google cloud calendar. But you'd be surprised how much access is common these days, like facebook, which if installed on your phone basically has access to your entire phone, emails, calendar, files, and can turn on your microphone and listen to anything it wants. We're not the ones you should be afraid of. We have a lot of respect for your privacy and we take data security very seriously, and we only request access for data that we absolutely need in order to deliver our services.

Do you have access to any of my financial or banking information?

Not really. We might have some data about transactions made via our platform, but that's it. When you go to setup Stripe during account setup, that is a merchant account that lets us process credit cards on your behalf, into an account that you actually own and control. We have absolutely no access to any of your banking information. We can literally process a credit card on behalf of one of your clients, but the transaction and the money goes into your own account, and we have no control over it or other access beyond that. This Stripe merchant account is not you bank account, but you do link it to your bank checking account, and new funds from credit card transactions are automatically deposited. You'll need to trust Stripe with your banking information, but they are a very legitimate company and you can read more about them at https://stripe.com/ if you're interested in understanding who they are and why we choose them as our trusted payments partner.

Why is there no video call link in my remote calendar events?

By default, a video call is added to all new events in Google Calendar. You can still add and remove video calls from individual events, but your Calendar admin can disable the setting. So if the video call link doesn't show up automatically it's probably been disabled by your calendar admin. You should ask them to change this setting back to it's default. In the mean time you may want to manually add video calls to each calendar event.

How do I connect with my remote freelancer?

By default, a video call is added to all new events in Google Calendar. If you don't see one, email the freelancer and ask them to add it. Once you have a booking with a freelancer you will be able to email them to ask questions as needed. You can also agree to an alternative means of communication, like Skype.
